Josiah Callaghan, MA
Counselor
Stepping into therapy shouldn't feel like walking into a cold, sterile room; instead, it should feel like a warm and compassionate space to explore the intricacies and burdens of life. Josiah is deeply passionate about helping individuals share and author their own stories, emotions and behaviors while discovering practical solutions to empower lasting and meaningful change. His approach is grounded in authenticity and down-to-earth dialogue where laughter and collaboration create powerful reflections on the messy and beautiful parts of being human.
True healing often requires looking beyond just symptom management and into each person as an integrated whole. Personal meaning, unique past experiences and future desires all shape an individual's current reality and future potential. Josiah believes that transformative counseling entails an atmosphere of mutual trust where self-limiting narratives and thoughts can be identified and challenged. In weaving together practical daily habits and exercises, Josiah seeks to empower people with the tools and knowledge of counseling in order to help individuals author their next chapter of life with renewed clarity, intention and perspective.
Josiah earned his Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary's University of Minnesota in 2026, building upon earlier education in theology from Luther Seminary (2020) and Bethel University (2017). This academic background provides Josiah with a unique blend of psychological insight and a deep appreciation for philosophy, creativity and spirituality.
““The love of our neighbor in all its fullness simply means being able to say, "What are you going through?””
