We are excited to offer a series of training and interaction sessions for Pastors and Christian Leaders. These are held from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. the second Friday of every other month (starting in January) at Salem Covenant Church in New Brighton (a link to a map is at the bottom of this page).  At each session a therapist will present a topic of interest followed by a Q & A session on the topic, with a panel of therapists interacting with participants on the presented topic.

During the remaining time the panel will be available to interact with any questions the participants have on any counseling topic. The sessions are free of charge.  It is our desire to create a greater accessibility for those in ministry to professional input on issues faced when interacting or counseling within their organization. We anticipate addressing a range of topics that could either be directly aimed at counseling issues or more broadly focused on general interpersonal or leadership issues.

We request that you indicate your plan to attend a given session through email or phone call.  You can sign up to receive email announcements for future sessions, indicate your plan to attend a session, or suggest topics for future sessions.  We hope that you will find these sessions beneficial for learning and for networking.  Hope to see you there.
Salem Covenant is located at 2655 5th St. NW  in New Brighton.  They are at the intersection of 5th St. NW and Silver Lake Rd., approximately 1/2 mile south of Hwy 694.

FRIDAY MARCH 9, 2012 FRIDAY FORUM

ASK THE THERAPIST

In March, we are offering a new experience for Friday Forums.  Instead of a presentation by one of our therapists, five of us will be present to create a forum where together we can address questions you may have.  Over time, many have suggested topics and asked questions which we could not turn into a full presentation, but they are important to address.  This will be an opportunity to explore some of these topics.  As we offer our perspectives, we will also invite input from all participants and discuss these issues together.  We invite you to send us questions before the session so that we can prepare and structure the time more effectively.
